Well I have several stories that changed my life, well biographies of people I never knew that had problems similar to me. I always thought that they had perfectly great thinking levels. That these people were born with that gift. That they did great in schools, always had A's, honors, and had the gift of learning things with great capacity. Nope it was the exact opposite, they were considered worthless, bad at school, and they we're told that they never amount to munch. One revolutionized the world with a fantastic invention that is still used today, and the other is a genius and defined gravity and his theory of relatively. These famous people are Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein. Both of these icons had learning disabilities and did terrible school. Thomas Edison failed 10,000 times till he made the light bulb.Albert Einstein got expelled from high school but graduated from a prestigious University. Reading the stories of these guys, in what they went through, inspired me to never give up. That I could be as smart as they are, get the knowledge I need to succeed. This opened my brain to new possibilities, that their is no such thing as a person having a fixed set of knowledge. If I want to learn something then I definitely can learn it. I cant let this learning disability that I have limit me anymore. Nobody becomes smart if they don't try and be willing to sacrifice. They changed the way I look at life. They taught me that nothing is limited, that if I want it, I go and get it. Life is too short to be wasting your time sitting in your couch thinking"what if". Stop thinking and get off that couch a get working because nothing, I repeat nothing, is going to come to you if you just sit there. Studying is going to be the most difficult thing I would ever face in my life, but as long as I don't give up, and dedicate myself I can surely be as smart as Einstein and Edison.
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time."
"Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning."
I feel any persons that help anyone in anyway for the good is a hero. some people just have good hearts.
